Two people applied online to join “Afrika4Jesus” as full time missionaries. What would be our response to them?

Does It Not Bother You?

Are you a born-again christian

Church in the Wilderness

?
Does it bother you that millions of souls living in heathen darkness are being daily herded into hell because nobody has told them the wonderful story of the saving grace in Christ Jesus?
Have you realized that the Church which is supposed to be the major stakeholder in taking the gospel to those poor souls has turned a blind eye?
Are you aware that the Church is squandering her stupendous financial and human resources on building cathedrals – monuments of no eternal value or returns on investment – and dining and wining with Kings of this world instead of investing in the kingdom business: MISSIONS?
Are you aware that Africa is home to over 900 Unreached People Groups (UPGs) – people who have not had the opportunity of hearing the gospel for the first time in their lives?
Do you agree with us that this is a matter of serious concern?
Then join us today as a WILLING MISSIONS PARTNER (WMP) of Kristian Missionaries of Afrika, AKA “Afrika4Jesus” a movement of christians fully committed to executing God’s End-Time Project on earth i.e Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations of the earth but with particular emphasis on Unreached People Groups of Africa.

Take Me Back

Take me back to the old Paths,
When Mums were at home.
Dads were at work.
Brothers went into the army.
And sisters got married BEFORE having children!

When crime did not pay;
Hard work did;
And people knew the difference.

Mums could cook;
Dads would work;
Children would behave…
Husbands were loving;
Wives were supportive;
children were polite.

Women wore the dresses;
And men wore the trousers.
Women looked like ladies;
Men looked like gentlemen;
And children looked decent.

People loved the truth,
And hated a lie;
They came to church to get IN,
Not to get OUT!

Hymns sounded Godly;
Sermons sounded helpful;
Rejoicing sounded normal;
And crying sounded sincere.

Cursing was wicked;
Drinking was evil;
And divorce was unthinkable.

We read the Bible in public;
Prayed in school;
And preached from house to house.

To be called a Christian was worth living for;
To be called a traitor was a shame!

Sex was a personal word.
Homosexual was an unheard of word, And abortion was an illegal word.

Preachers preached
Because they had a message;
Christians rejoiced
Because they had the VICTORY!

Preachers preached from the Bible;
Singers sang from the heart;
Sinners turned to the Lord to be SAVED!

A new birth meant a new life; Salvation meant a changed life;
Following Christ led to eternal life.

Being a preacher meant you proclaimed the word of God;
Being a deacon meant you would serve the Lord;
Being a Christian meant you would live for Jesus;
And being a sinner meant someone was praying for you!

Laws were based on the Bible;
Homes read the Bible;
And churches taught the Bible.

Preachers were more interested in new converts,
Than new clothes and new cars.

Church was where you found Christians on the Lord’s day,
Rather than being entertained someway.

Give me that old time religion!
‘It’s good enough for me!
I still like the “Old Paths” best! Jeremiah! 6:16.

Oh give me that, old time religion,
Give me that, old time religion,
Give me that, old time religion –
For it’s good enough for me.

What is your response to this most important question of all times? Isaiah 6:8 “… Who shall I send and who will go for us?”
Is it, “Here am I Lord, send me?”
Or, “Here am I Lord, but send them?”

I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone TODAY and step over to where the real action is: THE COMBAT ZONE OF WORLD MISSIONS!

Fashion of Hell

DADDY G. O’s COMMENTS ON MAKE-UP, JEWELLERY, WIGS & BLEACHED HAIR.

The elders have a saying, “If children of the same mother enter into a room to talk and come out smiling, they have not told each other the truth. Alright, so in the next 3 minutes, you might not be smiling as I am going to tell you the truth, because I am your daddy. Strictly speaking, I have searched the scripture, there is nowhere that I have found where it is written, if you wear make-up, you will go to hell or you will not make it to heaven, I can’t find it in the Bible. It is not to be found anywhere at all, but I have done my own research.
There are two places in the whole Bible where references were made to painting of face, only two places, and the two places are bad. One of the places talked about Jezebel. How many of you will name your daughter Jezebel?
The day Jezebel was going to die, she did make up properly, painted her face, dented her face with jewelries, but at the end of the day, dogs ate her up.”

2 Kings 9:30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window.

Her intention? To conquer and disarm Jehu; to entice him and induce him to take her for wife. (see Jarchi)
‘Jarchi was a medieval French rabbi and author of a comprehensive commentary on the Talmud and commentary on the Tanakh. Acclaimed for his ability to present the basic meaning of the text in a concise and lucid fashion, Jarchi Rashi appeals to both learned scholars and beginner students, and his works remain a centerpiece of contemporary Jewish study.’

“The second place is in Jeremiah 4:29-30 where God was speaking in anger to daughters of Zion, He says, ‘when I make up my mind to deal with you, you can paint your face as you like, it is not going to deliver you.’
Read it, you have your Bible to read. Those are the only two places I found, and they are terrible references.
Now as far as I am concerned, it is up to you to decide how you want to look, you want to make up, you want to paint yourself, you are at liberty.
If for any reason whatsoever God decides not to allow you to enter heaven, sorry o!!!
The point I’m making is this, nobody ever adds sugar to honey. Have you seen anybody adding sugar to honey? Anytime you see a piece of furniture that is painted, wooden furniture that is painted, the wood is inferior. When the wood is ebony, nobody paints it, no no no. I think children of God should realise they are precious enough, by the special grace of God and by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. They are honey, they don’t need sugar.
Some people go about in the name of fashion wearing wigs. I’m not being judgemental at all. This is not law, there is nowhere in the Bible which says if you wear wigs, you can’t make it to heaven. But this hair that you are wearing, from whose head was it cut? Do you know who was the original owner of the hair? Do you know what kind of anointing is in that hair? It is put in the most important part of your body, the head!!! ‘Thou anointed my head.’ Things are so bad now that some ladies come for ordination with wigs on. I always asked them: ‘Which one do you want me to anoint, the wig or the head?’
I told you, you will not smile by the time I finished. I have not been legalistic, I have not said thou shall not wear wig. I’m only talking to my daughters, my own children.

I read something in the book of Revelation 7:1-3. Some angels were sent from heaven to deal with the inhabitants of the world, after the rapture, the Bible says, I heard the Almighty God say, before you begin to deal with the people, let me mark them, let me seal them on their forehead, so that we may know those that the bullet should not hit.

What we wear matters. Why do you think the army wear uniforms? It is so that they will not accidentally shoot their own members. Can God recognize you at a glance, that is, as a child of God? Some people say it does not matter, and that what is inside is what is important, I agree with the last part, but what is inside will show outside. it will show on the outside, it will show, don’t let anybody deceive you.

When I became General Overseer, I brought a group of teachers to come and teach in the Bible College and they began to teach series of things I did not bargain for. They were teaching that God is not interested in the outside, He is interested in the inside, this man (the G. O.) is legalistic, he is too strict. So I went to Oyingbo market to buy two oranges, one ripe and the other green all over. My Bible students were beginning to turn to rebels and God gave me wisdom, so I stood before the class and I said, which of these oranges would you take if I ask you to pick one? They all pointed at the yellow and ripe one, and I said,
‘Why?’
‘Because that one is going to be the sweeter one,’ they replied.
‘How do you know when you have not seen the inside?’
They all said that what is inside the orange portrays and shows what is reflecting outside. An orange is sweet from the appearance because its inside is sweet and vice versa to unripe oranges….
It was at this point that God passed the real message to his people and the Holy Spirit gave them a change of heart.

People of God, God cannot be mocked, you cannot begin to tell people that God only dwells in the heart of man, seeks the heart alone and not the facial appearance. It is A LIE FROM THE PIT OF HELL !!! …

You cannot sit on the fence, it is either you are cold or hot… Say no to FASHION OF HELL … Why not be and remain the way God created you? Why are you adding to what God has created? In other words, you are telling God that, “God ooh, see you are senseless to have created me this way, I am going to recreate myself with make ups.” (God forbid).
May you not be an enemy of God. Amen. “Let your dressing be in modest apparel, not of painting of face or using of gold necklaces or earrings, but of a pure heart, shamefacedness and modesty.”
Have you considered Jezebel in the Bible? She was a perfect example of the usage of all these things, and she made all these things of demonic value. May you not be among her descendants in Jesus’ mighty name. Let your watchword be ‘WORLDLINESS FORBIDDEN.’ Instead of the world copying good things from us (believers), we the believers are the ones copying bad things from the world! Very shameful and pathetic!
Remember, friendliness with the world equals to enmity with God.
Beware of the end time vices and change your ways now!”

Africa is home to over 900 Unreached People Groups with Nigeria having the lion share of about 300.

We challenge you to partner with us in this Divine Mandate of taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.

(more…)

The World Wide Web has been with us for over 20 years now. And a lot has happened in that time! For better or worse, the way we communicate with one another and the world around us has changed. Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn… the list could go on and on.

So, what does this mean for missions? Anything? If you’re on this site you probably realize it’s pretty important. It may take some time to learn and adjust to online communication, but we think it’s worth it! Missions newsletters up on church bulletin boards are good, but there’s so much more that can be done. We want to see people get excited about missions and get connected to what God is doing around the world.

While there are undoubtedly some negative consequences to technology, there’s also great opportunity. Here’s a look at just a few of the benefits of using web technology to share your story:

Communicate More Effectively

Sharing your story and connecting to your supporters has never been easier. In the past missionaries would leave their country not knowing when or if they would return. Now we can share videos and send text messages in ‘real time’. Keeping an online journal of your joys, struggles, and prayer requests helps keep your supporters in the loop.

When supporters feel connected to what a missionary is doing they’re more likely to stay invested. They’re more likely to keep giving, keep praying, and keep sharing the missionary’s story with their friends. Here’s an example of just that from Love Global Foundation: Joanna & Simon met missionary Kevin Knight during their vacation to Cambodia. They were so moved by the work they saw that they started following Kevin’s story on his web page, donated to his work, and threw a fundraiser, asking their wedding guests to donate instead of buying gifts! They were able to stay connected and get their friends involved too. That leads us to the next point…

Make Giving Easy

Without connecting with Kevin on his missionary web page, Joanna & Simon may never have donated. Even if they had, it would have been difficult for them to ask their friends to give to Kevin’s cause. By using giving technology online, supporters are able to give easily and even set up monthly giving.

Web technology allows your story to be shared over and over again. You can even use it to recruit fundraisers for your cause. Supporters can share your story through social media, host a fundraiser, and ask their friends to give to your mission. As supporters become more engaged in missions, missionaries can spend less time fundraising and more time serving where they’re called.

Share Ideas

We all know missions work can be tough. Connecting with other missionaries, sharing prayer requests, and learning from those who have gone before us can make things a bit easier. That’s what’s so great about MissionsPlace.com. At Love Global, we send out a weekly fundraising tips email. There’s lots of other great sites out there too! Join a couple mailing lists or ask your friends which websites are their favourite.

Moving Forward

New technology offers a lot of potential for missions today. And you don’t have to be a computer wizard to see results. In 20 years the web has changed a lot and going forward I think we can only expect this trend to continue.

Do you use technology for your mission work? We’d love to hear your thoughts!
