Kristian Missionaries of Afrika, AKA “Afrika4Jesus”,  is a movement of christians fully committed to executing God’s End-Time Gospel Project on earth i.e. Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations of the earth but with particular emphasis on Unreached People Groups of Africa.
We seek to form a viable partnership with the Church – the Body of Christ – in reaching Africa for Christ.
We seek to tap from her (Church) wealth of human resources, hidden men and women who are willing to Step out of their COMFORT ZONES and step over to where the real action is: THE COMBAT ZONE OF WORLD MISSIONS, as missionaries into Unreached parts of Africa where millions of souls are agonizing in heathen darkness.
We seek to mobilize the Church to invest her stupendous financial resources in in training, equipping, sending and supporting her willing and ready laborers into the mission fields with a view to raising the banner of Christ and that of their denominations in those parts of Africa where the Gospel of Christ has never been preached before.WE ARE THE CHURCH MISSIONARY SERVANTS.OUR VISION: The frontiers of the Church of Christ extended beyond the borders of every Unreached People Group of Africa.

OUR MISSION: Train, Equip, Send And Support (TESAS) willing volunteers as front-line missionaries in partnership with the Church of Christ, our major Willing Missions Partner (WMP).

  1. OUR APPROACH:
    * Missions Training and Awareness.
    * Missionaries’ Children Education Project. (MICEP)

The World Wide Web has been with us for over 20 years now. And a lot has happened in that time! For better or worse, the way we communicate with one another and the world around us has changed. Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn… the list could go on and on.

So, what does this mean for missions? Anything? If you’re on this site you probably realize it’s pretty important. It may take some time to learn and adjust to online communication, but we think it’s worth it! Missions newsletters up on church bulletin boards are good, but there’s so much more that can be done. We want to see people get excited about missions and get connected to what God is doing around the world.

While there are undoubtedly some negative consequences to technology, there’s also great opportunity. Here’s a look at just a few of the benefits of using web technology to share your story:

Communicate More Effectively

Sharing your story and connecting to your supporters has never been easier. In the past missionaries would leave their country not knowing when or if they would return. Now we can share videos and send text messages in ‘real time’. Keeping an online journal of your joys, struggles, and prayer requests helps keep your supporters in the loop.

When supporters feel connected to what a missionary is doing they’re more likely to stay invested. They’re more likely to keep giving, keep praying, and keep sharing the missionary’s story with their friends. Here’s an example of just that from Love Global Foundation: Joanna & Simon met missionary Kevin Knight during their vacation to Cambodia. They were so moved by the work they saw that they started following Kevin’s story on his web page, donated to his work, and threw a fundraiser, asking their wedding guests to donate instead of buying gifts! They were able to stay connected and get their friends involved too. That leads us to the next point…

Make Giving Easy

Without connecting with Kevin on his missionary web page, Joanna & Simon may never have donated. Even if they had, it would have been difficult for them to ask their friends to give to Kevin’s cause. By using giving technology online, supporters are able to give easily and even set up monthly giving.

Web technology allows your story to be shared over and over again. You can even use it to recruit fundraisers for your cause. Supporters can share your story through social media, host a fundraiser, and ask their friends to give to your mission. As supporters become more engaged in missions, missionaries can spend less time fundraising and more time serving where they’re called.

Share Ideas

We all know missions work can be tough. Connecting with other missionaries, sharing prayer requests, and learning from those who have gone before us can make things a bit easier. That’s what’s so great about MissionsPlace.com. At Love Global, we send out a weekly fundraising tips email. There’s lots of other great sites out there too! Join a couple mailing lists or ask your friends which websites are their favourite.

Moving Forward

New technology offers a lot of potential for missions today. And you don’t have to be a computer wizard to see results. In 20 years the web has changed a lot and going forward I think we can only expect this trend to continue.

Do you use technology for your mission work? We’d love to hear your thoughts!

Wheels For the Gospel

Learn more Moving around in the mission field involves – most of the time – maneuvering through impossible unpaved roads. Only very rugged, four wheel drive off roaders can tackle these roads.
Six years ago, the Lord provided one such vehicle for us at Afrika4jesus. Six years of patient, meritorious service is beyond retirement age for a vehicle under these conditions.
We are, therefore, raising funds to replace our old reliable.
Is the Lord laying it in your heart to partner with us in acquiring a new vehicle?

Unreached People Groups in Nigeria

<!-10 Most Needy Unreached People Groups in Nigeria
Unreached people group is a term used for a people group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize themselves.
The concept became very popular as the church seek to pursue the fulfillment of the prophecy of John in Rev. 7:9 “… a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb”. A research of all the major people groups in the world was carried out and surprisingly,Out of about six billion people on earth, 1.2 billion(20% have not heard the gospel yet.). Out of 332000 known missionaries worldwide, 328000 work among the evangelised. Only 4000 work among the unreached people. That is a ratio of one missionary to every 300000 unreached people. 1739 people groups are still unreached several centuries after Jesus had come and paid the price for our redemption.
Out of these, 590 are from Africa and not less than 40 from Nigeria. No fewer than ten of the unreached people groups are listed among the chronic groups that have very insignificant number of Christians. Most of the ten do not even have a single person who is a Christian. This remind us of questions raised by Oswald J. Smith Why should some people be hearing the gospel over and over whereas others are not given the opportunity to hear about him once? This is nothing short of criminal negligence and a clear indication of the great omission of the great commission.
Below is the list of 10 of the over 20 chronic unreached people groups and their locations.
1. SHANGAWAS – Also known as the Kyengawa are among the descents of Kishera who left Badr near Mecca to escape Islam. They are found in Dendi, Bagudo and Yauri LGAs of Kebbi State. The only convert in Nigeria is reported to have gone back to Islam.
